Yes, it is safe to use Crystal Clean in a softener system that is used for drinking water. Crystal Clean only enters your water softener resin tank during it’s regeneration process. Crystal Clean is not a hazardous material, or a carcinogen. It is 100% organic and safer to use than most household cleaning products.
