How is Crystal Clean different than Iron-Out, Resup, Rescare, & Iron Remover Salt?
Iron-Out, Resup, Rescare, Iron Remover Salt, and most other leading resin iron treatments use either acid, or sodium bisulphite as their ingredients. These treatments have a very weak molecular bonding strength, which is too weak to break the bond between the iron and oxygen molecules. This is why they are never able to get all of the trapped iron out of the water softener's resin bed.
Crystal Clean, on the other hand, uses a proprietary organic polymer which has a molecular bonding strength that is 100 times higher than other iron treatments. This high bonding strength is more than strong enough to break the bond between the iron and oxygen that is keeping the iron trapped. This breaks loose all iron, which bonds with the Crystal Clean, and is flushed down the drain at the end of the regeneration process.
